This qualification is aimed at those who are starting out in an information and advice role involving general signposting and referral to guidance services.

This qualification is suitable for people who are:

  • Already involved in general signposting/have not been involved in education for some time and think they would benefit from developing their confidence in an Information, Advice and Guidance role
  • New to working in the sector and are looking for a useful induction programme.

This qualification would be particularly useful for volunteers in local communities who are involved in a signposting or referral role.

Entry requirements

Good level of English and maths.

Portfolio of evidence.
