This course is an introduction into Adult Social Care and will give a basic knowledge of the sector.

The course will equip you with:

  • An awareness of services within the local area
  • An awareness of the skills and attitudes required of employers within the sector
  • An understanding of the importance of communication and the various methods used within the sector
  • An understanding of the role and responsibilities of an adult social care worker and how to apply them within the sector
  • An understanding of the values, principles and guidance used within the sector.
