Overview

This one day course provides an introduction to personal money management including sources of income and expenditure, saving and borrowing and being able to produce a personal budget.

Themes covered by this course include:

  • Knowing what is meant by income and expenditure
  • Ways of living on a limited budget
  • How to undertake financial transactions
  • How to find key financial information on everyday documents
  • What saving means
  • Being able to produce a simple budget

This qualification is assessed by completion of written workbook during the course.

On successful completion of this one day course participants will receive an accredited, recognised qualification and certificate.
