Overview

This course will help you to develop the essential knowledge and understanding required for a range of team leading roles. The course will also provide an understanding of the skills required to be an effective team leader.

The aim of the qualification is to help learners to:

  • Understand and develop productive working relationships
  • Understand communication techniques and how to use them within teams
  • Understand how to manage conflict / diversity / work related difficulties
  • Understand how to plan and monitor performance
  • Understand own leadership style
  • Understand the principles of resource management and how to plan and carry out tasks.
