In order to apply for British Citizenship you need to demonstrate knowledge of English and knowledge of life in the UK. Accrington & Rossendale College working together with EIF are pleased to offer new courses at entry level one, two and three.

 

The courses will include:

 

  • The language for citizenship
  • Rights and responsibilities  
  • Life in the UK
  • A diagnosis of your language levels and opportunities to develop speaking and listening skills
  • A certificate at the end of the course
  • Bilingual and support staff

The College has seen over 700 students, from a wide range of countries, gain ESOL qualifications, which are an essential step to becoming a UK Citizen. Former students have visited Mosques, Cathedrals, Museums, & even the Houses of Parliament where they met Jack Straw MP.
