Performance Arts & Media

Alana and Natasha Horn completed the National Diploma in Performing Arts in 2009 and Alana was a straight distinction student. They both achieved a grade A in their AS and A2 Theatre Studies examination and have progressed on to a Foundation Degree in Theatre and Performance.

Painting & Decorating

Prior to Stephen Towler starting his educational journey at Accrington & Rossendale College, he was working as a labourer on building sites around the North West. He then enrolled on an adult Painting and Decorating course where he showed a great interest and passion for the trade.

Horticulture

Matthew is a successful student at Accrington and Rossendale College, taking the Level 2 Diploma in Work-based Horticulture.  Alongside this he is upgrading his literacy and numeracy qualifications.

Administration

Nick Taylor is in his third year at College.  He first arrived in College in 2007 when he took our Choices programme.  This course allows students to sample various occupations before they settle onto a specific vocational course.

 Hospitality & Catering

Oliver Kennedy enrolled at college in September 2008 and very quickly achieved his NVQ Level 2 Professional Cookery qualification before progressing to the NVQ Level 3 Professional Cookery course.
