4th Annual Pennine Film Festival Looks For Film Makers Of The Future With New Competition

Accrington & Rossendale College is looking for film makers of the future to enter its annual film making competition which is part of the high-profile Pennine Film Festival.

The festival will run from the 14th-19th of March and will feature a range of top actors, producer and directors from the world of film and TV.  Previous guests have included the director Alex Cox (Repo Man, Sid & Nancy),  Julie Hesmondhalgh (Coronation Street) and Olivier Award nominee stage actor Joe Alessi.

The competition is split into two age categories, under 16 and 16+, so whether entrants have years of experience or are just beginning, everyone has a chance to win.

Festival Co-ordinator, Stephen Murphy said, "Pennine Lancashire is full of talent and this competition gives them a chance to shine.  The screenings always play to a packed out theatre and it's a great way of showing what local talent can do when given a chance.
