Our construction department has won dozens of awards, prizes and citations over the years for its commitment to excellence.
Recently our students have won the City & Guilds medal for excellence, one of the most prestigious in the UK, as well as regional and national SkillBuild competitions. Students have also gained extremely competitive places on heritage projects such as Windsor Castle through the Prince’s Trust. All our students undertake work experience and this gives them a real insight into the industry, and into their career options. Indeed, many of our students progress to full time jobs and apprenticeships after their successful time at college.
Today a student, tomorrow a… Architect, Bricklayer, Electrician, General Construction Operative, Joiner, Painter and Decorator, Plasterer, Quantity Surveyor, Town Planner, Project Manager or Civil Engineer.
