Customer service is the “thread” that runs through a huge range of occupations and is necessary to promote a positive impression of your business.

The qualification is useful for a range of areas; retail, hospitality, reception work, motor vehicle and administration roles. This course will help develop confidence and a positive attitude towards customers who ultimately pay our wages!

The Level 1 Award in Customer Service is aimed at individuals who are looking to work in a customer facing role.

This award will provide you with a basic understanding of the impact of customer service and will equip you with the necessary skills to work and support customer service delivery.

Modules and units

The nationally recognised accredited Level 1 Introduction to Customer Service course will focus mainly on the principles of customer service and cover subjects such as:

  • Understanding how to deliver good customer service
  • Effective communication methods
  • Dealing with queries, problems and complaints.
