The hospitality level 2, food and beverage qualification is a good starting point for you to pursue a career in the hospitality industry. The course involves working in our state-of-the-art Heartwood Centre and Roots Restaurant. You will learn all of the skills and attributes required to progress onto a Level 3 programme or start your career within the hospitality industry.

Completion of this qualification is achieved through a combination of classroom based learning, practical skills sessions and work related learning in Roots Restaurant.
All the units within this qualification are vocationally based, directly helping you gain the knowledge, understanding and skills required to work within the hospitality and catering sectors.
You will also complete external work experience throughout the year.
This qualification is suitable for a range of learners from the age of 16 onwards who have little or no experience within the hospitality and catering sectors.
