This qualification looks at the knowledge and understanding of the key principles of a wide range of mental health issues.

The qualification is designed for any learner that wants to raise their awareness of mental health and the problems that can cause mental ill-health.

Entry requirements

Good level of English and maths.

Portfolio of evidence and a workbook.

Level 1 Award in Mental Health Awareness (QCF)

Progression and employment

Level 2 Developing Awareness of Mental Health Awareness.
