Accrington and Rossendale College celebrate receiving the prestigious Matrix Standard award

The Standard consists of four key elements: leadership and management; resource; service delivery; and continuous quality improvement.

The accreditation reflects the high quality of information advice and guidance the college was judged to provide to learners and potential learners on its programmes of study and to its own staff, supporting them in their choice of career, learning, work and life goals.

Moira Staines, Student Services and Career Guidance Development Manager at Accrington and Rossendale College, commented:

“We are very pleased to have achieved re-accreditation of the Matrix Quality Standard which is a unique quality standard for organisations to assess and measure their advice and support services. This is a fantastic achievement demonstrating hard work and commitment. We aspire to achieve excellence in all areas and the Matrix accreditation is a great way to confirm our high standards for our learners. I am very proud of the team.”
