There are many employment opportunities available within the hairdressing sector. At College you will learn skills needed to develop. Your study will be mainly practical work within our commercial salons, mixed with some theory. You will also learn about the importance of excellent customer service, how to promote additional services and the fundamentals of good health and safety practices/procedures. Depending on your GCSE grades, you will begin on Level 1 or 2, gaining a very broad overview of Hairdressing and learning basic techniques. At Level 3 you will study more advanced techniques for styling, colouring and cutting at a professional standard.
