|Entry Requirements:||You should be aiming for at least 3 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above including English Language and/or Mathematics OR a relevant Level 1 Diploma and GCSE English Language and/or Mathematics at Grade 3 or above. If you don’t quite achieve the entry criteria though don’t worry, we can discuss your options.|

This bricklaying course enables you to kick-start your career within the Construction industry, an industry which offers a lot of opportunity and growth. What will I learn?
• Typically, this course covers the essential, basic aspects of bricklaying such as half brick walling, solid walling, cavity walling, mixing of materials and setting out a basic structure.
• Units include health, safety and welfare in construction, knowledge of technical information and construction technology, constructing block, brick and cavity walling, setting out basic structures and mixing construction materials.
How will the course be assessed?
• You will be assessed via internal and external assessments. • With a state-of-the-art workshop, industry standard tools and top of the range equipment, you will be hard pressed to find a better place to kick-start a career within construction.
