Course Overview
On this one-year course you will be introduced to the basics of working in the Education and Childcare Sector, this includes Safeguarding protocols, stages of development, safe working practices and communication with children and different audiences. You will also develop key employability skills including commitment, resilience, initiative, confidence and professionalism. The course will support you in developing the key personal, technical and professional skills you need to get ahead, whether you want to progress to the Level 3 course, an Apprenticeship or onto employment in your chosen sector.
