Accrington and Rossendale College’s Motor Vehicle department has received a significant boost thanks to a generous donation from Ring Automotive as part of their recent Motor Vehicle Industry Day. Ring Automotive kindly contributed over £2,000 worth of specialist equipment to support their students in their learning and practical skills development.
Ayub Moosa, Head of Construction, Motor Vehicle and Green Technologies at Accrington and Rossendale College, expressed his gratitude for the donation stating:
“This incredible contribution from Ring Automotive will make a real difference in enhancing the hands-on experience for our students. Industry partnerships like this are invaluable in preparing the next generation of skilled professionals.”
Henry Bisson, Marketing Director of Ring Automotive, shared his thoughts on the collaboration:
“Without this next generation coming through, we don’t have an industry. For us a brand it is vital to support colleges like Accrington and Rossendale College to ensure students gain experience to help them thrive in their future careers.
“We were delighted to be able to donate some of our latest professional battery care products. This offers the students the opportunity to work with the latest tech and helps them to better prepare and familiarise themselves with such products before they enter full time employment.”
When asked about the donation, one student commented: “It’s fantastic to be able to use equipment that we would be using in our actual jobs. It was a very generous donation that we’re excited to use.”
This donation further strengthens the relationship between Accrington and Rossendale College and leading industry professionals, ensuring their students have access to high-quality tools and resources that reflect real-world automotive standards.
