Course Overview
The course is designed for people who would like to learn how to paint and decorate their home to a professional standard.
What will I learn?
This course covers basic home painting and decorating skills and techniques such as: applying paint using brush and roller, applying wallpaper and carrying
out decorating repairs. Alongside the practical tasks, you will learn about
materials and equipment.
You will work in a purpose-built workshop with the very best, up-to-date resources that the industry has to offer. Classes are taught by highly experienced and knowledgeable staff.
The qualification will cover:
• Staying safe when carrying out home repairs
• Preparing surfaces
• Applying paint using brushes and rollers
• Applying standard papers to walls
• Applying decorative effects
