ApprenticesLearn & Earn

Find a Course

Apprenticeships are an excellent way to earn while you learn. An apprentice is in full time employment, incorporating a combination of work based learning and qualifications. You will spend time at College, but mostly in your chosen Apprenticeship workplace.

Why Should I Become An Apprentice?

There are dozens of qualifications you could take, but Apprenticeships do something very special. They give you a range of qualifications, outstanding practical training and the theory you need to enter your chosen workplace too.  If you become an apprentice you will be highly sought after, as they have the recognition and respect of employers.

Qualification Levels

Providing your job role allows, you can also progress from an Apprenticeship (Level 2) to an Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3), or even further to a Higher Apprenticeship (Level 4) or Degree. Find further information on apprenticeship levels here.

Who Can Do An Apprenticeship? +

Anyone over 16 years old can apply for an apprenticeship. You must be in a suitable job role to become an Apprentice, but you don’t necessarily need a job before you apply, we will help you find employment.

  • You may also need to sit some short external assessments but we will help you develop these skills if you need support.
