There are dozens of qualifications you could take, but Apprenticeships do something very special. They give you a range of qualifications, outstanding practical training and the theory you need to enter your chosen workplace too. If you become an apprentice you will be highly sought after, as they have the recognition and respect of employers.
Providing your job role allows, you can also progress from an Apprenticeship (Level 2) to an Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3), or even further to a Higher Apprenticeship (Level 4) or Degree. Find further information on apprenticeship levels here.

Anyone over 16 years old can apply for an apprenticeship. You must be in a suitable job role to become an Apprentice, but you don’t necessarily need a job before you apply, we will help you find employment.
So if you have a career path in mind and would rather start work and get paid straight away then an Apprenticeship could be for you!
