As Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Burnley Football Club, Neil was the senior leader responsible for the Premier League club’s finances, supporter engagement, commercial opportunities, staff and facilities.
Before this, Neil was previously head of Burnley Football in the Community (BFiC) a key partner and supporter of the College Group, and was instrumental in developing a strong and close partnership with the College. Joint work between BFiC and the College includes established programmes such as the flagship Shadow Youth Team, which gives talented players aged 16-18 the chance to enter into higher education whilst gaining practical football experience, plus more recent developments including apprenticeships, traineeships and employability.
