Course Overview
This course is for anyone interested in a career in Beauty Therapy.
What will I learn?
You will learn basic Beauty Therapy including:
- Facial Treatments
- Manicure
- Pedicure
- Eye treatments
- Health and safety within the salon
- Waxing
- Promoting additional products and services
- Developing your effectiveness at work
You will learn through a variety of tutor demonstrations, instructions and practical application techniques.
How will the course be assessed?
All work is continually assessed and you will undertake practical, written and oral assessments plus mandatory written papers. Evidence will be built into a portfolio.
Progression
Progression onto Level 3 Beauty Therapy or Level 3 Nail Services, or work in a salon.
