Course Overview
The course is designed for people who would like to learn how to carry out home and garden repairs using wood and basic joinery techniques.
What will I learn?
This course covers the skills and techniques required to carry out basic woodwork and joinery repairs around the home and garden.
Alongside the practical tasks, you will learn about materials and equipment, types of wood and the basic joinery techniques. The course covers simple home and garden joinery repairs including:
• Staying safe when carrying out home repairs
• Looking after and using carpentry and joinery tools
• Producing woodworking joints
